Skewer It! 7 Ways to Grill Kabobs

Make the Takeout

Make grilling even easier with these easy to prep kabobs that will satisfy everyone’s dinner cravings. Make these flavorful grilled skewers ahead of time and enjoy a simple cleanup afterwards.

Go Greek

Top a Greek salad with freshly grilled chicken for a weeknight meal to impress.

Prep: Marinate skewers of chicken cubes and cherry tomatoes in olive oil, fresh lemon juice, and minced garlic for 20 minutes to 2 hours. Grill over direct heat for 10 to 12 minutes.

Skewer Shrimp

Grilled shrimp is a lightning quick way to serve up dinner.

Prep: Thread peeled and deveined shrimp onto long skewers, leaving ¼ inch between pieces. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cover and store in the fridge as needed. Grill over direct heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until opaque.

Grill Summer Veggies

Grilled vegetables are a perfect way to add flavor to a meal without excess calories. Try this recipe for colorful Herb-Garlic Veggie Kabobs .

Prep: Add vegetable chunks to long skewers. Brush with Italian dressing. Cover and refrigerate for up to 12 hours. Grill over direct heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until soft.

Sear Steak Skewers

These delicious grilled beef skewers are perfect served with potato salad.

Prep: Slice top round steak into one inch slices and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and oregano. Cover and refrigerate for two hours. Thread onto long skewers, leaving ¼ inch in between. Grill over direct heat for 10 to 12 minutes for medium rare.

Grill Tender Fish

Serve grilled tuna and peppers over rice or noodles for a new go-to dinner. Or give smokey Cedar Plank Salmon a whirl.

Prep: Thread one inch cubes of tuna steak and pepper cubes onto long skewers. Cover and store for up to 8 hours in the fridge. Brush with peanut sauce then grill for six to nine minutes or until tuna flakes easily with a fork.
