Paper Cup Octopus
Eight wiggly legs. Hundreds of smiles.

What you'll need:

scissors
construction paper
1 paper cup
glue
paper
crayons, markers or paint
pipe cleaners (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Cut out a strip of construction paper, wide enough and long enough to wrap around and cover one the paper cup. Glue or tape it. (Or you can paint the cup in any solid color of your choice.)

Step 2: On another piece of construction paper, draw 8 legs or tentacles. Each leg should be about as long as an adult's finger. You can also use pipe cleaners for the legs if you want.

Step 3: Cut out the legs. Bend each leg about one inch from the end. Then glue each leg to the inside of the covered (or painted) paper cup.

Step 4: Draw or paint a face on the paper cup.
